Robert Halverson
Bob Halverson is a retired US Army Major General who served 38 years both on active duty and in the Texas Army National Guard. He is a graduate of Colorado State University with a BS in Industrial Construction Management. His Army career took him to several postings in the US and overseas, including Germany, Belgium, Vietnam and Bosnia.
He also worked for the State of Texas for nearly 20 years, retiring in August 1998. First in the Governor’s Division of Emergency Management where he served as the Deputy for Operations, then in the Department of Insurance as the Deputy Commissioner for Safety.
He is active in the community working for the benefit of soldiers and Veterans. He and Johanna have been married for 44 years. They have three grown sons and three grown grandchildren.

Kathy Pierce
Kathy Pierce attended Iowa State University and received her Certified Public Manager designation from Texas State University. She has worked for Williamson County Commissioners Court since 2002 and is Executive Assistant to Commissioner Cynthia Long, as well as managing special projects for the entire Commissioners Court, particularly in the areas of indigent healthcare, indigent defense, Veteran’s issues, grants and mental health. Some of the projects and/or programs that Kathy is involved in include the following: Chair of the Williamson County Behavioral Health Task Force since its creation in 2003; Coordinator of the County’s Adult Protective Services Special Task Unit (STU); Project Team member of the Williamson County Veterans Court; and, County representative on CAPCOG’s Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (CJAC). Kathy served as the County’s representative on the local Community Action Agency – Williamson-Burnet Counties Opportunities (WBCO), also serving as the Chair of the Board from 2013 to 2015.
Kathy is married to Gordon Pierce who is an Army Veteran that served in combat during the Vietnam War. One of her three sons also served in the Army, where he was deployed to combat in Iraq.
Kevin D. Ross
Kevin D. Ross is a leadership development consultant and executive coach with Triangle Performance, LLC. He moved to Georgetown in 2015 to pursue his passion for making a positive impact on Veterans, especially the critical challenges of transitioning from military service to civilian life. He is the Mentor Coordinator for the Williamson County Veterans Treatment Court and past co-chair for the Central Texas Veteran Services Coalition.
Kevin spent 27 years in the U.S. Air Force followed by five years as a civilian in the Pentagon. His awards include: the Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, four Defense Meritorious Service Medals, two Air Medals, and the Secretary of Defense Award for Excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, an M.B.A from the University of South Carolina and is a Distinguished Graduate from the National Defense University in Washington, D.C.
He and Linda, his wife of 34 years, plan on making Georgetown, TX their next-to-the-last final resting place.
